OUR FAMILY STORY
Forever in Our Hearts
Some paw prints never fade.
Five cats became part of our family. Tong, Meow and Fai share our home today. Here are the full stories of Suea and Ling: one remembered with love, the other still missing, with fate unknown.
A PLACE FOR HOPE
Ling · ลิง
Missing · Fate unknown
Ling came to us as a kitten so tiny Ling could fit in a palm, covered in ticks and mites. We took Ling in and cared for Ling as the kitten grew. We planned to take Ling to be neutered the next day, but Ling left home and disappeared before then. We searched for months without finding a trace or receiving any news. Years have passed, and we still do not know where Ling is or whether Ling is alive. Ling is missing; the fate of Ling remains unknown.
A PLACE FOR REMEMBRANCE
Suea · เสือ
Passed away · Reported by the person who fed Suea
Suea was abandoned in our neighborhood as a small kitten. With so many dogs in the lane, we worried about Suea's safety and brought the kitten into our home. One day, Suea went out and did not return. We searched for months. Later, a local meatball seller who had been feeding Suea told us that the cat had stayed nearby, hiding during the day and coming out for food at night. The seller described Suea's markings accurately and told us that Suea had been hit by a car while crossing the road and had died. The seller also said they had buried Suea. We did not witness the accident ourselves. Suea's death is known to us through the account of the person who knew Suea and had been feeding the cat.
